This is mostly an update about Nash...because he is the absolute coolest thing going on in our lives. :)
Nash is now 6.5 months old, weighs 16 lbs, and is a touch longer than 2 feet. Everyone who sees him falls in love with him instantly. He's got an infectious smile, and, as you'll see in the video linked below, his laugh is just awesome. (I'm only a little proud of my son...promise.)
In the spirit of community and getting together to discuss two of my absolute favorite things, technology and faith, I've scheduled the first North Little Rock gathering ofDigital Disciples for November 10th, 2009. We'll meet at Panera Bread in Lakewood Village at 6:30pm.

What is Digital Disciples?
Free monthly gatherings consisting of both technology discussions / training and a time of Bible study, prayer and fellowship. The gatherings are a great environment to ask questions, improve your skills, but most importantly build relationships within your community!
Where are Digital Disciples gatherings?
The first group launched in Columbus, OH in the spring of 2009. But there are now groups forming across the United States! Please refer to the map legend below for group status and click a location for more info! We're constantly looking for new disciples that have an interest in starting new groups. Please contact gabe (at) digitaldisciples.net or call 614-787-8544 if interested!
Our Mission

Got this e-mail from a dear friend the other day. Sharing it with you now (with permission).
I felt moved to share this with you. Today at church we sang a couple of songs that penetrated my mind in a profound way. One was called "Faithful is Our God" by Hezekiah Walker and the other is "The Blessing of Abraham" by Donald Lawrence.
